Frames
The natural environment in which Cane thrives can lead to inherent blemishes and minor variations in the Cane surface. Where possible these are eliminated during the process of conversion into fine frames, but these unique features of this environmentally friendly raw material do not cause any detriment to the durability of the product. Despite being subjected to rigorous quality control, slight colour variations may occur only serving to enhance the natural characteristics.
Every Daro chair and sofa (with the exception of dining chairs and Elements ranges) utilises ‘No Sag’ metal sprung bases. Other cane furniture may have rubber strapping which will stretch and sag after time making the seating inconsistent. Daro is the only major cane furniture supplier to offer this design feature using Galvanised Steel Springs guaranteeing comfort year after year. The vast majority of Daro furniture is supplied with leather binding offering the most flexible and long lasting option.

Fabrics from previous years may sometimes be available, subject to availability.
One cushion normally constitutes two parts - a base and a back. Using the definitive composition of fibre cushion backs and Reflex ® foam seat bases when placed on the Daro “No Sag” metal sprung seat base the result is supreme comfort from the chair or sofa. The cushion bases are designed to mould to the body shape and recover within an optimum time. The consistent density adjusts with use and may vary from the showroom sample as a result of a different choice of fabric.
A wide variety of scatter cushions are available in assorted shapes, sizes and combinations - they are priced individually and featured separately.
Furniture for use in a public area (such as hotels and restaurants) must have cushions subjected to more rigorous testing and may be quoted for at additional cost.
Shade and/or batch variations may occur from swatch samples and the colours of products shown in this brochure are subject to reproduction printing processes and may vary slightly. Any patterns will appear randomly on the cushions and due to the constraints of manufacture, pattern repeats cannot be guaranteed from one cushion to another.
Recommended cleaning instructions are dry cleaning (P) only by a professional aware of the effect of dry cleaning on flame retardant coating.
